I see a lot of very nice portfolio sites with their models rendered in a really clean way. What do you usually do when you render a model for a 2D portfolio image? Also I'm getting transparency sorting issues with my model.

No sculpting yet, just plain old modeling. I'm having a bit of a hard time modeling her mouth to get the shape I want while making sure there's not too many polygons and retaining loops. Any good professional approved modeling tutorials for animation? Thanks
Hi everyone, Sorry if it`s a newbie question: What is better for performance, use seams or not? I've discover that I can unwrap without using seams (but it's more laborious), just unwrapping one of the faces separately. I wonder what technic is better for performance Cheers
