That's a good point about it being wood, actually hadn't thought about that. Hi, first of all gr8 model i like it much but isn`t that uv layout too complex? I`m not so familiar with normals but when u will be painting textures wouldn`t be that a pain to paint that really small pieces? Is that a reason that they are so complex? I just curious why it is like that way, it definetly isn`t any critique… -

He is using a deviantart provided folio guys, so he cant really do those things. I suggest looking at wordpress or carbonmade for something better if you dont want to make a personal one. Id stay a mile away from the Oh-so-gameart-unfriendly layout of deviantart. x2 on everything Great work and good luck! :-D -

crazy, first pieces of work I saw I immediately thought you were trying for a WoW look. And I would assume that is the intention after the end of the demo reel. Nice work, The site could be larger in size, but I think it is a very clean and simple layout. You got some nice stuff here. well played sir good luck! -

i cant help but laugh (in a good way) when i see this. i just showed this thread to a few friends of mine. basically looks just like the project we are working on (also ME inspired). funny that your most recent shot looks just like the layout for one of our things, but it happens. :D lookin good so far. -

NOT DEAD! Needed to take a couple steps back and work on the big picture rather than messing around with the details. so i blocked out a layout! Needed a demo reel on my website to pass one of my final classes also. I worked it out with my teacher though, and he was impressed with my site enough to let it pass as he liked my layout and look so much. I'd say just bring this thread up like you said, and try to negotiate with them about it. -

Needs more glowies and less edgeloops I like the layout, the way the recent projects are listed suggests a never ending list of previous clients. I like the bottom logo, very cool. Cant give any real advice, dont know shiz about web design, but I know I like this Oh and extra points for lesbian tounge dancing -

Holy crap I remember most of those pieces being pimped at one point or another but I didn't know they all came from the same guy =) Nice work, good site layout too. My only beef is with the header click box hangs down right on top of the buttons making it too easy to click the main header by accident. -

What usually helps me the most when I am creating ... anything is to look at reference pictures. This will help you see the details you are missing. Other then that I think you have a nice start.
