Eric: that'd be feasible, but probably save that until I have built a node based setup if anything and just create a "wizard" that asks questions and builds it from there. It's honestly not an idea i'll implement until later down the road.
Yeah I agree with Benton, right now it just looks like a wizard/witches wagon, I don't really see anything particularly "torturous" about it. Which is fine, I like the design, but if that's the case why call it the wagon of torture?
Boy - I know books! I've got 186 of them at home. Old Man - Feh. Comic books. Boy - No! I've read Treasure Island, The Last of the Mohicans, Wizard of Oz, Lord of the Rings, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Tarzan...
My shot at the D&D art test (character part) This is the "orc cook". It's conceptartsy, so not rendered to the bone, but besides that I gave this a good shot - any feedback is VERY welcome! My hope is to finally land some work with Wizards :)
jeff: those wizard fan casting things were always complete shit,, they always cast because "so and so kinda looks like this character" and never based on any inkling of actual tallent.. they wanted glenn danzig to play wolvrerine...
hey Tom, :) I always forget that no one can see my silly faces and kidding sarcasm. I understand the weapon was untextured. BTW looking good. I like what you have done in that engine! You guys are wizards!
Hey holmes, I don't have an answer for you unfortunately. I just suspected some sort of wizard magic was happening. As for lightmap differences, we never noticed them tbh when they were all set to the same quality level.
You could snap a cube to that place, cut off the back of it and snap the verts of your main mesh to the 4 verts on the open face. About as good as it gets, far as I know.. unless someone on here is a mel/python wizard.
Hi guys! this is my end of year school project based on a Windir's wizard's miniature (here it is http://www.gidian-gelaende.de/Material_HP/Windir/Wizards_Place/album/). I'm pretty much done with it, but I still can improve it for my portfolio, so advices and critics are welcome :)
Worked this week on a blockout for an obstacle in my game: A stone pillar for a wizards' tower. The idea is to put a (magical) light into the cavity in the middle to make it a bit more interesting. And here in-game just for a quick size-check (no material applied, that's why it's so dark):
