Nice I would be especially interested in plants and foliage breakdowns :) I like it. Did you actually visited my country as well? If I'm not mistaken some of this should be Slovakia in ancient times.
Before the graphite modeling tools were incorporated into 3dsmax they were a separate script called polyboost which I think is still available for ancient versions of max. There might be a separate script available on scriptspot.
I'm really glad to see so many people trying to make something different this month :) Yay, happy to read that. Thanks^^ We finished the Disruptor mount: Mokkin, the Ancient Conductor by OniLolz and Zaphk
since the vault is so fancy maybe you can have some super valuable ancient artifacts from somewhere in there. not sure what your specifically going for though. but yea the modeling looks good
I agree Edit Mesh is ancient, but it does have its place. Edit Poly doesn't support fins or other non-manifold topology, plus it auto-spins edges when polys deform.
i heard she dies trying to do some ancient lost japaneses spell. aparently theres a lot of important magic words that have pronouciation far to simmiliar to "bukkake" for any good to come of it
It's Horus, the ancient Egyptian god of the sky. this is the high poly mesh so far. I'd sculpt more details but Blenders built in sculpt mode isnt too great, and I dont have mudbox or zbrush. Comments, Critiques are appreciated :)
Hi Polycount! I'm working on a character. My goal is to create an ancient beast warrior. Powerful but good-natured. I just finished the high poly and would love to hear some critique before moving on to retopology. Thanks in advance :)
The Idea sounds interesting 1940's tech in front of ancient alien ruins. If you want my opinion: I'd blockout the scene first to get an idea. At the moment it looks a bit random. ;) keep it coming
A couple more... An ancient HarlequiN tut, but might give you some ideas. http://qbranch.cottages.polycount.com/tutorials/metals.shtml A newer one on CGTalk by Stefan-Morrell that goes into more detail. Tutorial:Hard Surface Texture Painting
