Having a small part-time job is even better IMO. That way when there is no freelance work you can focus on personal projects with no stress at all. I once worked 15 hours a week at a supermarket and that covered my rent and food. -

I increased the volume of, and defined the muscles a bit more. His head is also smaller and pointier. Going to add armour now, beginning with the lower bits and then going to the upper bits. I'll add the armour parts by extruding faces in certain areas. -

Really nice stuff, hope you and that other guy is still doing that environment :) In the Chinatown environment there is a few things looking weird, like the garbage bags you can easily see the edges and they look a bit flat. And the front part of the bus along with the window looks out of places considering how bright it… -

Really enjoying a chance to draw again, always with the zbrushing, keep forgetting to draw. good stuff! :D I'm definitely having fun. -

Thanks! I think you're right in that I need some more modern and real weapons. I checked out imfdb as well and found some great ones so thanks for that recommendation.
