Rename Objects tool in 3ds max (2021)
Hi all. I been playing with the rename object tool in 3ds max 2021, but I can't seem to get it working my way :-) I want to do this: MY_mesh_01_LP, MY_mesh_02_LP, MY_mesh_03_LP The numbering is always after the LP_01 I would like the numbering to take place first and then add the prefix _LP I'm not sure if this is possible… -
Crash of 3dsmax 2021 when opening old files from max 2017
Hi I was trying to open files from my old version of max in 2021 , but I can't as everytime it gives me error after it reach the conversion window, then crashes all ... is there any solution to fix this? I tried to import with merge the files but still not working. -

3ds max 2021 Physical materials supported in Unity? (fbx export)

Not at all in terms of the viewport. What's been shown is far from the reality. EEVEE is still far superior, visually. Max Nitrous viewport is pretty old tech and is locked into the ancient and slow Microsoft compiler(which according to the main dev of all this work is entirely reliant on this MS compiler which Adesk have… -

Hey! This is indeed a useful skill, and we do have lots of resources to help explain it (and many experienced artists here who do it!). An atlas is one way to do this kind of workflow, where all the UVs are contained within the 0,1 uv space. You can mirror and stack UVs to reuse space, for example to UV both left and right… -

rather just have modifier keys make it default to say 0.1 for each spin, and got to .001 when holding shift, and maybe 0.5 while holding control. -
