Click the mesh in the viewport. A pop-up window will appear in the top right. Change the rendering mode to solid. The squashed rendering is likely due to your render settings in 3DO - change them to an appropriate resolution, like 1920x1080 or so.
yea I figured why this is here I will post the more nice beauty renders heres a render of the warmachines animation vig did with the nice effects applied.....the seforin angel will be rendered out soon... http://seforin.com/finalrenderOMEGA.avi
Giving Blender a go, here's an OTs high poly so far Not worked out how to get AA working in viewport render/getting the proper render to look like the preview render but this is for real time so just going to ignore that for now. Otherwise thoroughly enjoying Blender, seems a lot more flowy than 3Ds Max.
Here is a bunch of renders of stuff I made for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. Have a few more things to render out, but they are such a pain so I dont know if I will, hah (like a pair of giant doors...) Everything built and rendered in Modo. Didnt build the underlying base for the soldiers, thats the standard grunts, only…
I've been trying to render out some assets in Marmoset Toolbag, but can't seem to get the render right. In the viewport the model looks fine (minus the really bright gamma of textures; if anyone knows how to fix that I'd be appreciative) but once I take a snap shot, the contrast is blown out. All my render settings are set…
looked over Michael Orb Vicente's rendering guide and got my day 18 render! im pretty happy with it, but it's going to not be easy to go back and render all my other rocks. finding a good angle is 90% of the battle!
The less you render the better. The more times you keep rendering out video the more artifacts and compression show up. You should color correct while you are compositing to get the best quality out of the final render.
Arnold Showreel January 2013 We teach this new render for Maya and we have a render engine running on a 200 PC render farm, soon expanding to 800, boom! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=sYPelZW8mMQ
This looks great, I especially like your rendering, the beauty shot has so much atmosphere! What are you using for rendering? Marmoset? How much of the beautyshot is the actual render and how much did you tweak it afterwards?
maybe you should mention, that just rendered tris count for the 2048 limit. if a normal is pointing away, it's not rendered and therefore doesn't count. example: if you have a sphere with 100 tris, actually just around 50 to 60 a rendered.
