Giving Blender a go, here's an OTs high poly so far
Not worked out how to get AA working in viewport render/getting the proper render to look like the preview render but this is for real time so just going to ignore that for now.
Otherwise thoroughly enjoying Blender, seems a lot more flowy than 3Ds Max.

Did a low poly pass and a quick UV to test the bake in Marmoset:
Went into autopilot last night and started building up the materials in Substance Designer when I remembered the point of this model was to learn nDo/dDo. Anyway will be a useful point of comparison with how far I got.
Starting to think about presentation as the texture's starting to come together, what do people think about lasers? too cheesy?
