KDR: If you read some of the info on any of the links posted it mentions that this is set just prior to quake 2, with the earth forces being near future equivelants of our current arsenal.
It's not much now, but it's going to be a diabloish Necromancer. I just figured while I start on this new project, that I'll also go ahead and make myself a new base mesh for the future.

hmk, thanks for the anatomy critiques, I don't think i'll go back and fix these particular heads but i'll definitely keep your comments in mind and look at more reference in the future.
You could easily get depth with a view screen, we are making such tv and cameras now. Thats what I imagine tvs to be like in the future, like looking through a window.
because of the future space deserts.. duh. they have to blend in. I like it so far, the glow is nice, I'm looking forward to seeing this further along. how big is it in relation to a person?
Yeah sounds like Crytek is just getting rid of some old IP they don't plan to take any further in the close future anyway (while getting a nice profit out of it).
I don't see a whole lot of modding in the future period myself . Look at how few mods there are for Doom 3 ..and all the Next Gen games are going to be like that sooner or later
