I think you can change it back to its default settings by going into the world properties menu. Change the PIE mode to deathmatch or something like that. Save and then reload. It should bring back the default character and stuff then just remove the HUD and weapon to get a nice view
Soldier with the extended length adrenaline burst and the sweet sniper rifle was pretty rediculous too. Pop the adrenaline, step out and headshot 4-5 enemies, then fire the rest of the clip at a guy's chest to break shield/armor. Reload while your power comes back, repeat.
As well as the Evironments I am loving the concept art, and the gun, the characters look nice. I am also really impressed by the 2 different reload anims! And the fact you even have an ex-military man for references and military insights is totally next level...
Also if u dont want to make ur images into html pages, id suggest making them open up in new windows. So when the viewer goes back, it doesnt have to reload all the thumbnails again when u add more of ur art.
I agree with jackwhat 1887 is way to powerful i cleared a room killed 8 people with them before they knew what was going on.... when every one is 70ish level they are just stupid if they are not using the dual shotguns... scar extended mags or AUG fast reload FTW...
Have you tried turning gamma correction off completely?* Also if you are working with textures, you might have to reload or reopen them with the new gamma (or override etc.) * (Though gamma 1 should that in theory, but who knows what's going on in regards to texture loading.)
Hello, I ran into the same problem and couldn't figure it out. My solution was to simply not save it when the lights go crazy and reload previous saved version. Had to go into autoback a few times as well. Not really the solution you are looking for, but a work around I guess.
good to know, i just have a habit of opening pics in a new window :P always hate it when i click to open in same window, and i have to wait a few seconds to go back and reload the original page i was on before i clicked the pic
-Is your maya file inside the gameSDK/Objects/"name of object" and are you exporting from there -If you go to the rollup bar -> "Brush" -> open the objects tab, does anything show up there, and if not, try pressing the reload button. That's all I can think off for now :p
Thanks for the responses guys. I saved - quit, reloaded UDK (the issue was still there), then i rebuilt lighting, and it went away. WEIRD! So sorry I can't provide you with that screenshot of just lighting, obviously i'll bump this thread if it happens again and attached said picture. :)
