Looks good, definitely one of the better horse models I've seen. The anatomy is pretty tough to get right. I agree that the neck length & head size could maybe be tweaked a little bit to improve the proportions but it still looks pretty correct even without that.
As for colour scheme - 2,3,4 for me. As for sculpt - remember to pay close attention to anatomy even tho the guy is monstrous. He can turn out blobby/not really realistic if you jump into detail too early. Work on the forms, check reference a lot and it's gonna be good.
Thanks bobobo. day 2. sorta. I'm leaving early and was late to start this chump today. Appareennntttlyyy we are getting a huge storm. I figured now would be a good time to rough in the clothing etc before doing a solid pass on busted anatomy etc.
was messing around with dynamesh mesh made this from a sphere. Instead of using zspheres for the hands I started with spheres as well and dynamesh. I know the proportions are all wrong as I didnt use reference moreless a fun exercise. I will refine this with anatomy soon though.
Your human anatomy needs work all over. Just focus on fixing the silhouette for now. Your character needs to be in a more relaxed, correct T pose. I really recommend picking this up for study before continuing further with details https://gumroad.com/grassetti
Proportions, silhouette and anatomy is pretty good so far :) I would only add that his legs are a bit bigger and longer. If you would like to pose him like on the concept I would open and sculpt the inner of the mouth at this point. Keep it up!
Alright, still going! I'm still tweaking the anatomy and soon I'll jump into MD to begin the clothing. I'm starting to get a good tough girl look in her face. I'll be taking a week off for the Holidays. More will be posted as soon as I get back.
Posting as well my second made character in this style , being Black widow to test a woman in this 3D art style ! What do you think of her , i tried to adapte the cartoonie style of captain america all while leaving the feminine anatomie touch !
Yeah Soul. I think everybody here knows you have mad skillz. I just thought it was a bit much to imply that Snowfly didn't understand the basic bone structure. The cheeks look a bit full to me, but well within the realm of proper anatomy.
The anatomy looks pretty strong. You can see the bone structure and veins. What looks off is the angle of the fingers. The only time they are ever straight is when they are together. As soon as you separate them they begin to fan out. Yours look a bit too parallel.
