@Shyralon Thanks very much, appreciate the feedback. I think in future, I should have my assets in a game environment (UE4, Skyrim etc) as well as marmoset presentations :)
Happy new year :) I finished the house during the holidays, finally :) Render in Marmoset with Unlit materials and one map for AO. Triangles: 2116 Any advice and critique are welcome
This is a low poly character that I made for a game in progress, Legends of the Chalice War. I used 3DsMax, Zbrush, Substance Painter and Marmoset Toolbag 2. Concept by Francis Brunet.
Started a environment project and i have decided to create materials first , so this is one of them .Hope you guys like it . :) marmoset viewer - https://www.artstation.com/artwork/rdvDJ
Try to stick to an engine with limitations similar to what they have in their games. Using Marmoset with HDR cube maps for lighting doesn't make sense if their titles are using much simpler tech.
thanks a lot guys ! managed to finish this up got a marmoset viewer file up her for those interested https://www.artstation.com/artwork/JbKO0 , might add sketchfab lateron
First test in marmoset. Not sure about the camera yet, but I like these so far. Next up is some smoke/particles or something to make him look hot and sexy.
Some more Studies, These needed a little more Photoshop love on one of these, for some reason having the skin SSS shader on the hair in marmoset had the hair turn bright blue ;)
I'm definitely not an expert at using Marmoset or setting up materials for it, but it looks like you need more reflectivity - also, the surface of the plastic casing should be tinted dark red.
