With all the horror stories I hear about Origin and how outsourced EA's tech support is, you guys better hope you don't have a single hint of issue that requires any kind of help. Plus...you know...the company...
It's a clever ruse! They've all "left" Valve to start their own company called Faucet - where they're going to be working on Valves new outsourcing experiment, Half Life 3. you may all go back about your day.
It would be a huge plus on your resume, alot of large studios outsource work to Chinese studios and communication can be a big issue sometimes as well as the way they give and take feedback. If you can manage to learn mandarin you will be a golden god.
Am really interested, but can I ask Paul, is it possible for you to hire outside the USA? and I am not 'down' with the terms, but assuming CSG is outsourced work, how do I apply, or show keen interest in such work with you guys?
so... the game is getting outsourced (just asking out load, you probably can't/shouldn't answer :P)? coz that would be the shittiest thing to happen ever. We need more games like this getting made down here :poly118:
If you guys ever need some remote staff to augment your in-house team during a crunch just drop me a line.. We're our of Montreal so it's more nearsourcing than outsourcing but we'd love to work with you in the future

See Jacques, that's the problem. If Cg artists ever decide to unionze themselves,, these copmpanies will simply shift their work to outsourcing... The moment we start to complain too much here, they will simply get themsevles some cheap labor from India or Korea...-_-
