Core seems like a let down, they're really going after the 3d printer hobbyists, not so much game artists. Granted I read in the thread, zbcore people will get some kind of discount if they want to upgrade to full. But when they do things like have 20% off during the summit, it's not like it really matters. -

Setting up a ghetto network
Parents purchased a laptop, and they want to be able to connect it to our current internet connection, instead of having to leech a wireless connection from our neighbors. Cool idea, bit bland though. Some more colours would of been nice. I don't actually really see any reason why this should take too much longer than doing it digitally once you get used to the workflow? Especially if you get some ink for your printer :P -

Playing around with the ARToolkit i was able to do this with my webcam and some hand copied markers since my printer is low on ink lol really helps when you use the right markers, the reason why it didnt work for me very well is because i was using the wrong markers. But it works fantastically now! -

So apart of all the UI talk, has anyone tried it daily? is it stable? I think some pages back someone reported a wacom driver issue? I mean, I want to format my PC, should I install windows 7 or get windows 8? How are printers/tablets/3d max/games compability? -

I just use paper that I swipe out of my printer. Doubles as a handy note-taking surface, and there's always more when it fills up. If the paper didn't work I'd go for the cutting mat, though. Anker also makes some nice mice. You can see if anything they've got tickles your fancy. -

Been working on developing a workflow on my creature designs where I can start to 3D Prototype them. Still need to get in contact with a company that specializes in toy printing so any feedback from the community would be very much appreciated! Do any 3d Printers capture the vertex color of a zbrush mesh yet? ;p
