Hi Root, Thanks! That's it.You can go on our Wiki space and then: go on left bottom page into spacetools/Contents/Export Now you can export our manual in pdf for offline training ;-) Cheers, Aurelien
Yeah it will be a little low res in the viewport, when you export out a rendered image it super-samples and improves the quality though. If you export crazy big like 3840x2160 and then resize to 1080 it looks better as well.
Did you export using fbx? I had a similar issue with Marmoset and Maya, it had something to do with some bug with the fbx exporter not saving tangents properly, so try saving as an obj and see if it works.
What are your *.OBJ export settings? That looks like a case of relative numbers being checked on export. I've attached the settings that I always get a perfect result with. Perhaps you'll find them helpful.
Sorry, no, currently only still frame exporting is available. Video export may be added at some point in the future. You will need to import the frames into something like Adobe Premiere if you wish to create a turntable video.
Make sure you have mesh normals on when exporting obj, not just smoothing groups. Also try FBX if obj isn't working out. Max can be a bit of a pain to find the right export settings.
I don't know about maya since I don't use it, but I know it works with Max. You'd export an obj from Max and then inmport that into zbrush, do your zbrush crazyness, then export back into Max.
use mud2011 and export the channel as PSD... or if you on 2010 flatten all your layers in mud and export the layer... Mudbox 2011 Trial http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?siteID=123112&id=13565063
RazorBladder you can try this: import mesh to mudbox export to obj import to max or whatever you use smooth it and then you will see which polies need fixing export to obj import to mudbox always works
Export the low poly from painter and look at it. If its different from what you have in maya/whatever then you know you need to clean up your source data or fix export settings
