Due to overloading work, university and some personal things, I'll be putting this on hold! Gonna keep the thread as this may get picked up again in the future.
Posting this for future reference, in the simulation tab you can turn off the tool or tell it to ignore parts of it. This is what it looks like with just the "shaft" active.
