Going with Melkior's idea, if you want to make it seem creepy, go with making it look like an old abandoned southern Antebellum mansion, with the family graveyard, hanging spanish moss from the trees, and the general Southern US feel to it. Except ghostly...the south has some great ghost stories and history...
+1 for less reflection. Also, I wouldn't expect to see such a beastly off road vehicle be shiny like that...well except for the lifted pimped out grocery getter heavy duty trucks I see all too often haha. Seriously though...some mud and dirt would help.
I think the animations were pretty good for most of it with a few exceptions, but the main problem was that the running/sidestepping speed didn't match with the speed of the animation. I'm sure they'll mess with it more before its released. Overall I think its gonna be incredible. One of my most anticipated games.
When I heard the samples and Still and The Fragile came to mind, I was pretty much sold. One of the better ambient releases of the last year, I think. Although I've yet to listen to II-IV, except for what I've heard in the streaming player. Now to track down someone with Visa...

You can snap to UV:s in 2008. It's the same as snap to point (v) works like any other snap except for some reason you can't use the MMB. If you're looking for the Retain component spacing option it's in tool settings for the move tool when you have the UV-editor active.
I just got a Fujitsu Lifebook laptop, and it rocks my socks off. The screen is exceptional, one of the brightest laptop screens I've seen and the colors are incredibly sharp. Its powerful enough to do everything I want. The only drawback is that its a little heavy due to its size, 17".
well it depends on the lighting engine in my opinion, but generaly if a bolean produces alot of very thin tris then that is badyours doesnt look too bad except the widows on the side of the building a few more cuts here from each window cut along to the side would produce alot cleaner geometry
