at this point anything belonging to Nintendo, Square Enix or Disney is guaranteed to be suffocated. At least these guys were smart or lucky enough to finish their projects first.
there is no real ptex painter out there... all of them need uvs in the background... only disney and blizzard have a painting solution painting direct to ptex...
They're looking great. I do wonder whether they're going to have problems with Disney if they release their game with that Lightning McQueen model though.
While browsing through the calibration profiles for UE4 and Disney GGX, I noticed ApplyGGXCurve-function with an exposure parameter. Can someone explain why is this curve (and exposure) needed?
