That is just how this works, you can store a morph target after dynameshing it and use morph brush to bring back flat area and manually smoth the surronding area. Another way is to make primary shapes using boolean in blender then small details using live boolean feature, making a low and high poly version out of that.
it's a little convoluted but here goes. on the target object (the one you want to align to) add a custom attribute from Animation::Parameter Editor... called vert make it of type integer, ui spinner, from 1, to 999999, default 1, width 64. Press Add. now select the aligned node. in the motion panel select the Transform…

You deleted the </div> tag for your footer. Try this code, it should fix it. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd"> <html xmlns="https://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <title>Daniel Paynter's 3D Portfolio Site</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type"…
You're overthinking things, ralusek. You're not going to understand the public. Why? Because the public is REALLY DUMB and will like what they are told to like. How come Disney is still a powerful brand even after pumping out total garbage for a decade? How come Call of Duty: World at War sold bajillions…
Ah. glTF allows you to store separate animation tracks, but you will need to use some code in your target renderer to play them all at the same time. Just recently, a former colleague recently wrote his own glTF extension to dynamically move the clock hands, according to the viewer's local time. Here's a…
Got something far enough to post. Probably will change while I start texturing. This is something I wanted to do on one of the past Dominance Wars. I think I'll do just texture for now. There's a secondary character I'm still modeling and figuring out the basic design. Probably post that one next. And just fyi, this one…
The fact that they have no central leadership and no figurehead is a good thing. That would give the corporate thugs something to target, a "head" to cut off. It's a common strategy to kill the leader in order to confuse and demoralize the enemy. Don't give them a target. I like the idea he mentioned about making a run on…
Im not so sure that a payment of that sort could be considered royalties :/ I think i said made a similar analogy earlier in the thread, but if a band leaves a label they do not forgo royalties for works created whilst with a particular label...why would games be different? Now if it was a bonus ... If employees were told…
I am wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a good script for Max which would allow me to select multiple alpha cards and "paint" or generate them to a target mesh. I use to have a .mel script which would basically spawn particle all across a target mesh and then instance geometry to those particles. It was…
