David: Made the net in Maya. Used the wrap deformer to tie the net to a nurbs plane, using that to fit it to the body and Zbrush move tool to make little tweaks.

Really great job so far, but like DWalker, I would add some net like fishing net, to keep the simplistic style but add some more credibility to the balloon. More like this.

The nuts on the openings of the hydrant could show a little more wear. Whenever the valves are opened or closed I'm sure that those nuts get torqued a little bit and would probably be more rounded around the edges.
