Haven't learned it much but zbrush has that cloth sim, its wonky for me but that is only because i am face-rolling(equivalent of smashing keyboard with head) into it without reading the doc. I am also interested in anything fun, i think they changed the interface "controls" in MD 9.5 or so and its just a nightmare overall…
Hey there! Longtime lurker here finally posting up some work. Here's my version of Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars! As soon as I heard she might be in The Mandalorian, I knew I had to make a more realistic version of her design from the Rebels show. I hope you like it! In the spirit of #screenshotSaturday, I thought I'd post what I've been working on today. I took a break from my regular work and just geeked out over Yoshitaka Amano and Quina from Final Fantasy 9. I will probably just do a hi-poly of this and stop there, but suggestions and advice is always welcome!
I am not a huge fan of the the design personally. The front looks like a vacuum cleaner to me and the scope feels out of place for what I would expect the gun to shoot like. The new Zbrush 4R8 features helped me a lot during the concepting phase and the latest Blender version made the rendering a…
rocks are fun, but can turn to blobs if you're not careful. I find anything organic is fun to do in mudbox or zbrush if you ever make it to zbrush, I love these brushes, maybe some of it can translate over to mudbox http://www.selwy.com/2009/zbrush-clothes-tutorial/
3d printer are pretty much a ''luxury'' at the moment, but still loads of fun and it's really cool to be finally able to hold stuff you made on a computer screen :) . Tho, it sure is a new thing and so it's not as easy as ''press print'' yet, it's a learning curve but a fun one in my opinion :)
Just did this in the lowpoly thread over in P&P. Every should go check out what's going on there right now, it's pretty fun. I never really do too much ultra-lowpoly stuff but this is getting me thinking about it more. Optimization is fun!
