UPDATE: So I can't see zbrush responding but when I alt+tab out then back into Zbrush it updates visually to reflect the changes I made or buttons I pressed. Essentially, Zbrush's display/UI isn't rendering correctly after I try a best render.
It's been a while, here's another quick update :) Developed a rough texture for the model. Still need to add normal and specular maps. To help put things in perspective, the model is for a top-down SC2 mod so the model will appear roughly this size in-game: More updates to follow soon :)
Although Autodesk currently have market share in games art, I feel this may change over a long period as products such as MODO get regular updates that have beneficial features and Autodesk keep releasing updates that do not much as much difference and make the product less stable.
Hi Just a quick update on the model: Took Brad's advice and updated the costume so the metal parts of the costume looks more like actual metal than stone. Also adjusted the background because the perspective for the city wasn't proper. Any comments on the latest version is welcome. Thanks!
Hello everyone Quick update on the project. I have been working leisurely on this over the past few months but am ramping up production to see if I can bring it to a nearly finished state for Christmas. Below you will see the latest updates: As always any feedback is welcome :)
UPDATE! Sorry I went on a mini-hiatus due to finishing up finals and getting some Secret Santa gifts for parties. Anyway, here's a small model update with different designs I had thought of and would like to see which one looks best to you all!
Whoa .... allot more replies since the last time I looked. I'll have to update it accordingly once I read though everything. Thanks allot guys ! While here's an updated version: I worked hard at adding more textures, like Noren had suggested.
Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated this in so long. I've found some time to work on it again, and here are some updated WIP shots: I look forward to hearing your feedback, especially about the lighting, since that's an area I need to improve in, I think. :)
I updated the trees so there not as flush, as well as placed a medium sized dry plants. Also updated the glass, as it was pointed out in the critiques :) . The glass now looks more solid, it distort the image behind it, and has a higher reflection level. Thanks for all the advice! Constructive feedback welcome.
heres a small update guys...I'v only put in around 5 or 6 hours of texturing time in...at most. Im pretty behind at this point. Im hoping I can be completely done by mid next week. Let me know what ya think of my update.
