I was just contemplating that maybe I modeled it too tight in MD. It do however sit nicely over her body in a t-pose, when she bends backward the front is still nice. But I'll do a test with the push modifier and see what that gets me. Thanks, man.
This is very similar to the workflow I used to retopo my garment except I use blender. It's really good for the sculpting phase but not usable within MD. Simulating more simple mesh like this t-shirt with Ncloth or blender is possible though if you only add thickness after the simulation. Thanks for the response. I had an…
Hi I was following this tutorial on an umbrella, but I am lost when it comes to MD and uses that link option that I can't figure out how to do , anyone knows what keys or option he is doing? I can't even find any reference to attach by poligon the fabric to a mesh by googling... min 7.52 https://youtu.be/x8zLtEwweB8?t=472
Hello everyone! I started this likeness study of Corey Taylor the other day and then thought "why not making it a full 3d character?" So I'll try to update this thread with the wips. In the end it's just to study some more xgen and MD but to make it fun I'll create the masked and unmasked version with different hairstyles.…
hi all I'm another student of the heaj school here is my model for unreal 2k i've done some modification between my mds and my 3d model to stay around 3000 triangles... the general concept is a women skinless with mech armor. The part of head is mainly made with a piece of skin over all face, but it's design as a mask
So i'm importing my mesh from Zbrush to MD and whenever i simulate the cloth, it always push up towards the top torso. I imported another model I've done before and that was working fine so it's obviously the mesh that's the problem but i don't know what :S I've tried Zremeshing it again still didn't work.
Hey mal, yeah finally broke the chain. =] Good to see you still kicking around here. And war... I still miss your #md stories. Glad to see you found something more lucrative to keep you busy than wearing out keyboards in IRC though! Congrats =]
half bath = powder room I just bought a townhouse here in MD about 3 months ago. 2 bedroom, 2.5 Bath (plus an unfinished one in the basement) about 2000 square feet. I'd like the place a lot more if I stopped trying to paint / improve all of it
Nice work. The legs seem short. Its a question of taste but the posture is meh. The boots are not really correct: looking a bit symmetrical (for each boot). The folds on the costume are not descriptive. The leg shape under the trousers looks quite weak. It would be worth learning how to use MD before dismissing it I reckon.
If you've gone the route of MD> ZB> retopo> texturing....Basically rigging the clothes would be the next thing yeah. It's often then set up with controllers or rigid bodies and physics simmed so it's interacting with the characters animations that are going to be used in game and then it's all baked down to key frames and…
