Perna, so instead you would prefer to use shader tricks to get the luminance values back to something comparable (power, multiply)? To my experience, this has never worked that well in Unreal. Even when using a second intensity mask, you still don't get such a vibrant range of colors in reflections. I can show some… -

Eyyy figured it out. Saved a 20 versions of this photo at 1 exposure step from -10 to +10 and combined them all in luminance HDR. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Hope it helps someone -

Need to do some more tweaks to the grass. Leaves can be adjusted (how many there are...etc), the colour for the leaves are gradient mapped then within a tile generator the luminance and saturation are adjusted to get the various brown colours. -
What camera to get
Hello, I'm looking for a relatively cheap camera to shoot photos of an 0.18 percent grey card and I'm expecting close to real life luminance (not 100% accurate but close). Don't have the budget for DSLR at the moment. What do you recommend? -

Using light functions at many lights (15-20 or more) are cheap or expensive? I want to use this at my early evening scene, to give shadows to the lights that "coming from behind" luminous windows, or barred lanterns. -

mikiex: I agree! Konamis Fox Engine, Square Enix Luminous Engine and Capcoms Panta Rhei Engine. Very happy to see they are finally catching up. Hopefully it will bring back their self-confidence in game creation. -

Thanks, Fishy, I probably should take a second look at it. I did try the emissive map, which is what I mistakenly called "luminance" in my last post. It just looks unbaked, and not glowy. But at the momemt this lighting issue is holding me back. I posted it in technical talk as well, but in case someone is looking here,… -
