I always recommend it on these threads. The Styx bridge plugin is an absolute godsend between Max/Maya/ZB. It's only $5 and completely eradicates all the arsing about with scale between packages. Click in and out. Perfect scale every time. It essentially makes working between packages a single seamless environment.
I recently bought the Styx plugin. It was posted here on PC. It basically 'copys' the .obj to the clipboard, and you can 'paste' it into any other application. So you can just jump mehes from Max to Zbrush to Headus to Maya and the scale is retained. You set up the scale once and it's pretty much GoZ without the naming…

Rizom Unfold3D has been industry standard for 10 odd years. It's only more widely known now because it was rebranded/marketed. 2 of the most useful tools I've been using in recent years that are indispensable to my workflow are PureRef and Styx plugin for Zbrush. I've also started with Blender 2.80 in the last few months…
Glad it was useful. Yes, GoZ is far from perfect, but I do use it constantly and find it incredibly useful on a daily basis. It really is such a shame that this scale issue - which has been there since day 1 - has yet to be resolved. Incidentally, have you seen this new multi-app bridge plug 'Styx'? The dev posted on here…
Hello Eric, thanks so much for those insights and sorry for the late reply ! Yeah I felt like my main issue was the overall darkness but didn't really know how to fix it! I'll definitely try adding bounce lights. As for the narrative she is indeed floating in water but the river Styx which in my story is full of Souls and…
Digestive Decodance In this dream the afterlife was was in the GI tract of a celestial deity who apparently reincarnates one once his digestion is complete. Our hero is apparently a treasure hunter who was searching for a rare item in the sewer but got swept into this reality upon acquiring the "royal flush toilet medilan"…
You absolute beauty!! Not having a Zbrush bridge for Blender 2.80 has been one thing that's made me hesitant to really jump in.....until now. :) EDIT: 3dsMax is my main program and I use the Styx plugin as a flawless Zbrush bridge. Your tool now gives me a flawless bridge between Max and Blender via Zbrush. Just tested a…
I decided to do some organic practice and wrote up a list of food props I'll make. I'm aiming for a Semi-realistic Stylized look, something which could easily fit in the game Styx: Shards of Darkness, shown below. The props fitting in isn't really neccessary I just want to have a style to aim for, so I'm not wandering…
@D3lux Model looks real good, I'd pump up the brightness and maybe add another light just to better show it off. Here's my final submision. I spent about 24h in total and I'm not sure if that's decent or not. I quite like the original style though, kinda reminds me of Styx Master of Shadows, which is probably why I wanted…
