Hello guys, i want to make some broken concrete parts but i got a little problem. Whats the best way to mask the broken area out and texture them with a good transition. As you can see on the image below these concrete parts have a lighter texture where the concrete is broken. But how to mask them out and get this smooth…
The model looks much, much better and much more efficient, great improvement! I think the reason that the concrete doesn't look like concrete is because of the scale of the texture. You used a very zoomed in image of concrete that doesn't work for the amount of surface area you have covered with it.
Hey again everyone, got a grungy layered damaged concrete surface this time, let me know what you all think! Link to Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/EV9dLN
So this is not my first time playing with substance designer, but it is one of the first where I feel like I have something worth showing. Just a simple concrete texture. any feedback is welcome.
Finally getting over being sick...woo hoo! New seamless concrete images are ready here: TXR - CONCRETE/PAVEMENT http://soundimage.org/txr-concrete/ Make sure to scroll down...they are down toward the bottom of the page. Maybe useful for roads, buildings, etc. Have a good week!
