Hello guys,
i want to make some broken concrete parts but i got a little problem. Whats the best way to mask the broken area out and texture them with a good transition. As you can see on the image below these concrete parts have a lighter texture where the concrete is broken. But how to mask them out and get this smooth transition? I want to sculpt them in zbrush and then texture them in substance painter.

Zbrush has some nice masking tools you could convert to polypaint and bake out though.
