I didn't see a thread for this yet. Anyone seen the movie? I saw it last night, thought it was fantastic. Another amazing performance by Andy Serkis as Caesar and some amazing effects from WETA. -

Yea the father of your mother is the one to look at they say. So I can expect to go pretty bald except for the Caesar ring around the sides. It's begun! I'll buzz it one day. -

She looks great so far! I love the belt and the straps on the shoulder. I agree with Caesar earlier on the hair symmetry. The concept is kind of symmetrical-ish too, but there are some tiny variations towards the tips/ends that help break it up. I am unsure if you'd be able to slip that in prior to the bakes and texturing,… -

I'm starting to make progress on this piece. The scene is Caesar's office from Roman history. Does it look like they are using normals at all in the game? I've tried smoothing edges in Maya but it seems to cast unwanted occuslion on the model around certain edges. cheers. -
