I need help to get rid of the extrude function on the move gizmo in Maya. Every time I move an object, I accidentally click on “extrude” and end of extruding faces when I don’t mean too! It’s been driving me crazy.. wondering if there is a way to get rid of this on the move gizmo?

It doesn't work like I need it to. The only way that it kind of works, is if I have Select -> Face -> By Vertex checked, then I can select a vertex and it will select ALL the adjoining faces. osman.... if you're in the UV editor, you can (RMB>Face) select the face , which will highlight only that face... then (RMB>UV) marquee select that face and it will convert the face to a UV selection, and you can freely move that (face) selection in uv space

When I'm in editable poly mode, and I select faces, it selects the edges that make up that face instead of highlighting the whole face in red. I just like when the whole face is in red, anyone know how to change this.
