Drav: Cool progress so far! Give the spacing tool (ctrl+i, it's a little flakey though) a try for the chain linkes, I think that's what I ended up using on mine.. I don't remember now though.
This looks very cool! It's interesting, but if I have Dropbox/Drive and Bridge, Why pay for the extra service? Most people have a cloud storage account, having to buy a second subscription seems like a big barrier to such a nice tool.
Don't post the time an asset took, in a studio you are going to be shoved into a pipeline, shown the general workflow and tools, and given sometime to get up to speed. The quality and time spent on a portfolio piece is going to be a lot higher than on SM_generic_game_prop_18.
Probably warrants a little explanation - Wedrawcomics is a collaborative comic game where folks take it in turns to draw frames. The tools are quite nice for a web based thing. Would be cool to get a Polycount game going if folks were interested.
Definitely agree with atomander. Adding some roughness and wear on the floor would really help this piece.Maybe make some of the tools look like they had been used. Also, itd be really cool to see a tray of that bay blue somewhere!
Looks hot, just bought it. That snap-to topology tool itself is well worth $109. edit: Very impressed...took a total of 15 minutes to get from purchase to displacement painting in the beta. Nice smooth, strong brush too.
Ahh no, my tower and stuff is out of Xenobonds shot. :( Will someone save a downloadable copy of the server world before putting the new one up? Would be cool to use the iso rendering tool to throw together a collection of individual buildings. :)
How's this? Sorry it took so long... I had some things come up and then when I started to work on it I decided to model it again... for the 7th time... :( Well atleast I feel comfortable with the tools used now.
