Hi everyone!I’m looking for someone who wants to practice 3D animation by recreating a short scene or video. This is a personal non-commercial request, just for fun and private use — not something I plan to publish or sell.If you’re interested in practicing or experimenting with animation, I can provide references and…
Hi everyone, I have a low poly tree for game(pine tree) and the rig is done with a bone for each foliage card representing a branch, so i was wondering about what would be the best way to animate it to give it a natural light wind to make it sway gently?
Daz- thanks for the reply- that's a great help. yah, i agree that the doctor doesn't hold up. it was a stupid concept from start to finish and my time could have been much better spent on something such as anatomy. i totaly agree with the doctor, and almost considered cutting him.. but decided that it was completed work…
Hello everyone, I recently got back from a game developers conference out in Troy, MI called Interfaces (hosted by IADT Detroit). After a day of recovery, my brain finally felt up to typing all my notes up so you guys could all benefit from them. It was a very interesting conference with a lot of great speakers from…
Hi @d1ver Thank you for your feedback. It is very constructive and I really appreciate that you've gone through the extra mile measuring my lighting values and matching it up with really useful examples. I'll definitely take your advise and try to adjust my scene and will keep that in mind for future project as well. In…
This is on Blender 3.6 using Auto Rig Pro. I have tried changing rest poses, adding new bones for the IK to target, adding constraints on the IK bone, retargeting on a Mixamo rig and trying to target the IK onto that, and none of it has worked.
well. another reason for doing that node based way is to not have to load another texture just for spec. depending on platform it could be pretty deadly for your framerates if everything had an extra texture just for spec. also it's so much faster to quickly iterate your spec like that. arguably you could say that hey,…
Hey everyone. I started a new Sci-Fi environment awhile back and I am posting just to get a general response from people as to my current progress. I built this to be modular so pieces can connect to each other or be re-used elsewhere to save memory. Also, because this is still WIP, I intend on fleshing out the walls,…
Heya - The UE4 (and to an extent UE5) setup is to be taken with a massive grain of salt. For instance, the pseudo "IK bones" (for ankles and wrists, with their very odd parenting) are mostly to be ignored because for a modern project, because an animation system needing IK (for instance for interaction with the world)…
Basically, you have all the things wrong I listed above, and a couple more things too. Model needs the xforms reset (from the Utility Panel). The model's position is not zero'd on the X axis. Skeleton root node is not zero'd out on X. And the skeletal limbs are not exactly mirrored, the toes being offset more than the…
