you're brilliant for thinking that up. yeah, that's what i do more or less on my rigs. i'm not sure what you mean exactly by having it spin at the root and not the tip, i would have thought you would want the oposite? if you were to spin your forearm on X, your hand would rotate but your elbow would stay still... i do this… -
