hello everyone,this is my first thread and i hope it's a right place to post.my problem is with layers in z brush. whenever i quit hd geometry my layers will be gone. even if i go back to hd geo again (with highest subdiv level)they don't comeback. thanks
Has anyone had success saving layer fx to a smart material you are making? I see that many of the provided smart materials, and all mega scans use Pattern Overlay to put textures on surfaces. Even if all I do is make a layer and add a pattern overlay, and go to save my smart material, this gets discarded. Any thoughts?…
Yes, you can add meshes/prefabs/lights/terrain/particles/whatever you can select in the editor to a layer. layer in mudbox are bound to the subd level you created them... if you crate a layer on level5 the layer will only work on level5... but they shouldnt disappear after saving...
I tried dragging but the layers don't move. I'd like to simply reorder my layers. Heh, never mind. I was having an issue with windows and dragging and dropping files. Apparently it was also affecting photoshop. I restarted my machine and it all works now.
