I'm building a new computer and I'm curious if anyone here has ever needed more than 16GB of ram. I quickly run out of my 4GB of memory(32bit) when I try to build lighting in my UDK scene. Another 16GB is only around $100 more but I don't want to waste the money if I'll never use it. Thanks

Hello! Has anyone come across a method or script that will allow someone to quickly flat map UV's based on the meshes smooth groups? So rather than an angle threshhold, the flap mapping creates UV islands based on your meshes smooth group? Possible? Done before? Any info on this would be appreciated. Thank you!
We've also had artists running non-work-related TV shows in small windows off to the side. They learn pretty quickly though, distractions don't help when you're consistently falling behind. Work is work, stay focused and get stuff done. Then go home and do whatever you like.
