It doesn't actually change the layout, just adds another tool palette with some nifty presets and buttons for some of the menu items. All in all nice work. With a bit more development I can see it becoming a 2d artist's nDo.
That's the problem with the beams.. I haven't added the second set of UVs to that item yet. I'm referring to the room itself. The lighting that is baked doesn't reflect the original at all. It's alot brighter, and it has lost all the colour information. (the green on the walls is gone)
added at the counter... welcome to those moments "Hey I have 1 dollar here and item XY costs just 1 dollar!" just to find out at the counter that you have to cough up some small change for the sales tax :/
A note to everyone using 3ds Max 2012: Please install Product Update 10. It should fix the problems with the Outliner introduced by PU9. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=20398787&linkID=9241178
I'll add it to the wishlist. However the more items we add up there, the more difficult the layout becomes. Especially important on mobile. We might condense some of them, like combining the profile pic with the Account Options, and/or combining Notifications and Inbox.
^ Particularly if the end result of customization is bland and artless character content akin to the TES:Oblivion stuff. Choosing from a variety of skins and accessory items is one thing, but dynamic nostril size is a waste of time and in effect often the antithesis of consistant visual style.
Try File -> Optimize Scene Size ? edit: Make sure to open the options box next to that menu item, and turn on pretty much everything ;) I haven't had that happen to me, so I don't really know what it might be.
I got myself; a few too many games, a badly needed new office chair and a bunch of household items I needed. My parents got my a nice zip up hoodie with fleece interior and lots Christmas feasting!
