I think you could say he hasnt been as revolutionary lately as he has in the past, but i also think that would be akin to saying Buzz Armstrong is overated because he hasn't landed on any *other* moons lately. Fact is he is the frontmost pioneer in his field. -

autodesk maya: busted rotation gizmo
how can autodesk get away with that!! as there are bugs, and there are laughable bugs, this one falls into the later category among all the problems that maya has, this one is the most telling about the status of the software and the conditions in which it is being shipped… -

What the hell? Terrible animation like this should not be associated with Blizzard. And Blizzard is way late, they might as well not even bother. They had the chance to essentially print money if they'd properly taken DoTA over in the War3 days, but they fucked that up and it's too late now. LoL and DoTA 2 have the market. -

Furthermore it feels like the overall work being posted in here lately is very low quality and very saddening to me, I can understand needing crits but some of the stuff posted lately is startling. -

Damn, just played it, was forced to play as an alien... Sadly I can't comment on the others as I had to quit after a few mins... Took me 10 odd minutes to load a game... Then I was forced to play without knowing my ping in a laggy server, while looking at ultra bright walls and ugly washed out colours... This isn't the old… -

The problem isn't crunch or stay late, but if you get compensated for it or if its expected that you stay late without pay. Personally, no matter the whole 'creative' or 'my passion', I would want my time to be compensated one way or another for working extra time. Anything else is just exploiting imo. -

If you guys are on a little late, it's cool. 8PM is an approximate time as I know people have kids and brothers and sisters to take out for the Big Candy Haul(tm). I'll be handing out candy myself and may not be right on time. The kids in my neighborhood tend to come out a bit late anyway.
