Here is another item started for this scene. I actually started this one first, but have been wrestling with it off and on for a week. It is a rusted out shell of a car. reference Still a ways to go on this before I really go hi-res on it.
Had some free time this weekend and added some more items such as a mattress, cardboard box, some old dismantled beds and a wall plug! Trying to get as close as possible to the reference. Will update more as soon as more work is done!
re: beta You should have an invite by now. Let me know if you didn't. re: gamma problem Go ahead and log it: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=5600504&linkID=9241177
Today I added the books in the cabinet and the coat hangers by the door. Next I think Ill start making the candles and the small items that hang on the hanger I just made. Hopefully I can keep up the slow and steady pacing!
Pose looks good. Some suggestions: Use stronger colors +contrasts. Crotch area looks a little weird. Use more shades to add depth. Add more decorators - small items of clothing, jewelry etc to make it more interesting. Overall, good job.
The log shows on the side the value 2807MB. I found the item "peak GPU memory consumed" to be around 850MB (sorry, I've never used the arnold log). I attach the file below. @gnoop Both Compute_0 and Compute_1 say 0%
cool video dude. What is that thing flying through your cockpit at 1:27? At first glance I thought you hit a bird or something. When watching it frame by frame I saw it beeing some item iside the cockpit.
Plus if your in a hurry to get into the game and start making stuff, it is possible to buy into the beta for £25 i think it is. In the dota 2 items you can basically buy a beta key, probably need to know someone who already is in though.
I won't look it up but if you wanted to please put me and others on i have no clue what these are about. Thanks Frawmus, and sorry too busy working on things to take time to look and read about the items your speaking of. :)
You don't switch between IDs. They're just guides that you use as masks. Simply right-click on an ID and select the appropriate menu item - either mask the current selection to that ID or mask a new Smart Material to that ID.
