I'm trying to find a dynamic solution, due to certain effects. Like said character moving the spike along their body, etc. I guess I should model the item separately and use a Depth node to keep things simple?

I guess that makes sense for larger pieces, and then getting more "free" with the other items... Will be interesting to see how things come out. I need to find out if Unity has a built in grid or if we will need to code something....
I have a dropbox folder that I organize to my needs. I've set it up in a way that helps me navigate it quickly in terms of the items I usually try to find when I am working. Is that what you mean?

I've been able to select 3 to 4 million polys as well. Maya slows to a crawl but it shouldn't crash. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=9683256 These are the recommended specs. Get a Quadro and Maya will fly.
Dear All, I can not find the solution, how can I move the action center freely? For example: I would like to bend a tube in a way, that the center of bending is not a clickable item, and is out of the tube? Or is there any other simplest way to do it? Thank you

I was planning on making a Faceless Void head so I need info. I saw items which using default mouth, I wanna know how do they do that? Do they just delete the upper faces and use the same UV or do they create a mouth of their own.
