I guess I have to face the truth. You are right. Right now, challenging complicated mesh such as human anatomy is just suicide. Right now, I am try to create ak-47 as best as possible. Do you have any other suggestion? Thanks.
I'm at the 47 hour mark. I'm having a great time with it. About the Yazmat (in japan, thats how it was spelt) boss... the dev team made that as a salute to the the great Yasumi "Yazz" Matsuno who left the helm of the project in the fourth year of development. Yaz-Mat, awesome eh?
DAY 2: Today I managed to create another (more detailed) draft of the weapon. Unfortunately that is all I was able to do today, but I already began working on a larger and more detailed version of this and also will begin planning the design onto the weapons, AK-47 and M4A4.

Jonathan Flectcher does a pretty dam nice tutorial of hand painted textures in the "Vertex" mag. http://www.artbypapercut.com/ starts on page 47 and is fucking great. also i have seen the content but i do believe 3d motive had a tut for hand painted weapon textures.
Dimitri Martin has a great but short bit about "Super Busy Hospital 2", where you have to fix up all the guys who were shot in other video games. "Please be quiet, I'm performing surgery on someone who was shot in the head 47 times.
