My biggest concern with EA is their lack of focus on product line. They do so many games but none of them that well. They should seriously consider stream-lining and focus on fewer higher quality titles. They have exceptions, obviously, but for the most part it's true.
Spike TV awards are like MTV Movie awards - nobody gives a shit about them except a bunch of teenagers who are told they're supposed to. I bet Kevin Spacey's MTV award for Pay It Forward is the crowning achievement of his career.
Nice drum pad. I don't have much to say that anyone hasn't already said except good job on it. Also, the instructions are a bit off, I think. 'X' is listed twice for what should, I think, be the 'X' and 'C' pads.
You need to have some examples here, mods don't require any launcher except if it's a mod that does something on its own that other mods can depend on, and if that developer of that mod decided that he can make a bit of money of it, then good on him.
Nice highpoly! I would change only one thing, and thats the spur wheels. They aren't functional how they are at the moment.Looks like they don't do anything, they are just there. Except this, its a spectacular model! I hope we can see this finished once.
No problems for me, except if I weld a line of UV verts, Max crashes. Do you have old hardware or have you updated max and your drivers? My hardware: Win7 64 IvyBridge i5k 16gb ram GTX 460
It's for cleaning up raw boolean objects in max. It just adds the Vol. Select, Vertex Weld, Turn to Poly, and Edit Poly modifiers and configures them a bit. I don't do anything to the Dynameshed object except put the proOptimizer modifier on it to decimate it.
The circuit board came out nicely! Good job so far! Don't have any crits so far, except for the fact that the scene looks a bit too clean, but that's already been mentioned so don't mind me. :) Keep it up!
Here's some of the assets up close, and a quick look at where I am now. Like I said, I spent a lot of time today learning Vertex Painting, so not a whole lot has changed, except some lights etc.
thanks for the comments! Jessica: nope, building it all from modular textures sofar, except some tiny props here and there sofar. And another update, another angle of the building. tweaked various things, added more props.. all around poking on stuff.
