By the way, on a technical note : would you mind explaining your process regarding the addition of details on top of the MD simed pieces ? For instance, what was your strategy for seamlessly integrating the zipper as well as the seams/bump seen on the fabric on each side of it ?
Vas, Have you tried dragging and dropping your Atrac files from sonic stage to your psp? Then again, I haven't used/installed Sonic Stage for my Sony MD player in ages, so I've yet to test this.
Great work! How did you achieve those excellent fabric folds? (I cant anything to look nearly as good through MD) You really nailed down the jacket and jean feel, please share your knowledge! Cheers
Trying to push this piece as far as possible. Making slight adjustments before the last day of class this Wednesday. Will post again if significant changes are made. Modeled in Maya, sculpted in ZBrush, clothes in MD, textured in Substance Painter, and rendered in V-Ray.
Here is a new sculpt I have fiddled with for a few days. Turn-around crappy render >_< More progress and polypaint Turn-around Turn-around with polypaint All in zbrush for now, will create a body for him and som clothes in MD later.
Shine: Man, post the full size shot of your avatar. I need to compare it to this: http://web.archive.org/web/20030710085637/http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/cottages/frankie/crash/md/ Damn it's a shame the proper url doesn't work any more.
I wanted to try painting a DnD character, so I got my sister to click through a character builder  I have made some rough ref with das MD and blender and am now getting stuck into the painting!
I really like the progress you've gone through so far. Lovely work. Anyway, I'd suggest to model some underwear if you're going to simulate something in MD, because of the possibility of nipples poking through. Like Tectonic mentioned.
Yo creatives! This is my first time using MD and this asset is just part of a bigger project, but I need some help. Here is what I have so far, I don't know if I can approach this better? ANY tips and advice will be HIGHLY appreciated!
Just guessing here, I'm not so great with MD either, but I've learned recently to usually work with a decimated sculpt from zbrush, rather than my low poly, and this usually lets the cloth drape with less issues as there is more vertices to read.
