This is just a start, later i will be posting more sketchs in paper and digital work. Particularmente, me gusta mucho dibujar en papel. Hope you like. Other thing: I expect a lots of critiques. frozenfire - a mixed creature of fire and ice, fuego + hielo
In the book, raptors were Deinonychus (once referred to as Velociraptor Antirrhopus) - Deinonychus was also small, but not as small as a Velociratpro. As an FYI, the Jurassic Park movie raptor is a tweaked Utahraptor - you can see it in the shape of the creature quite easily.
Looking at a character roster of a fighting game gives a pretty good overview of the issue, too. Look at the variety in body types among men, women and creatures Blaizer. Isn't it odd that all women have the same physique?
The walking animation looks unnatural - the feet especially are exceptionally stiff. Keep in mind that this is a bipedal creature; a better reference would be a descendent of these theropods: For the idle animation, you might want to place him in more of an upright posture.
This is awesome. i really like their art style. I would really like to ask. In their cinematic trailer, for every expansion, does they also paint the character/creatures to look so damn realistic, or it's just the in game models?
the scull of the top piece reminds me of the creatures out of pitch black. on the Viking picture it seems like a little off perspective like the left shoulder sticks out a little to far for the angle you've got in standing
