Hi! Things you can try to get your hands dirty: * Bi-monthly challenge (any challenge really). Why it helps: fixed duration, concepts to work off, others potentially doing the same subject with perhaps different approach, gives reason to think about and articulate workflows. Fill additional parameters like style-specifics…
Can I be 'that guy' and ask for the wireframe? I'm also curios as to why one would have a separate texture set for the eyes, since they're so small in comparison to everything else.
To get displacement working you need to connect the dispmap into the disp input of the shading node. https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/A5AFMUG/Displacement could you post some maya wireframe shots?
Yes, could you post a few more images (all at the same camera angle): Low poly with wireframe enabled Low poly with cage display visible High poly Thanks
I'm thinking exactly what Butthair said. Any change of seeing a wireframe? I have a question... Are there faces on the top and bottom of this mesh? If yes, then you could probably delete those.
The first thing that comes straight to mind for me is, where the breakdowns at? Displaying wireframes, texture sheets, stats etc will help display your work better than just beauty shots!
Could you show some wireframes? The polycount seems very high for what I see in the image. I agree with what everyone else has said about the texturing and lighting.
I was just thinking about the tattoo when I read it heh. Looks great in my opinion! What I really would like to see though, is the wireframe :) post plx!
