Cool :) I think her curves are more apparent in the concept though - waist thinner and hips wider. I also think you should make the cutline down the center of her chest wider/bolder, and the little glowing circle bigger too. Excited for the rest of the blockout :]
Rough armor blockout to get an idea of form before I go to retopo. Still working out the design of the back view and fixing the shape of her breasts. I'm also having a lot of trouble with the legs, I'm not really a fan of how they're looking right now.
What is Kabuto without Delphi? Well, actually, Kabuto is Delphi. That's weird. Testing a character here with some raw brutal blockout. As an environment artist I never get to play with the characters, ever (T-shaped dolls aside). Animator's domain. First time for everything, indeed.
Love that concept..it reminds me alot of dead space the monorail stations you always start at and end at. I really want to do a sci-fi piece but Im wrapped up in another project. Good start with doing the blockout, hope it all works out for you.
Good day ! I finde some great concept of fantsy inn, drawed by Vsevolod Slavutych and now i want to make a model, based on it ! Here i got first step i can show. Just work a bit with blockout and play a bit with details. Don't wat to make any poly limits in this project, so it will be loooong project.
Hi everyone, First time posting here on polycount, wanted to show everyone what I will be working on this period. It will be a sushi bar inspired of a concept art piece of Lino Drieghe. (be sure to check some of his work out! http://www.linodriegheart.com) I'm still working on the blockout phase, but I'm enjoying working…
Hello everyone! Long time viewer first time poster to polycount. I really like the critiques I see people make and thought I would contribute a little more here. I finished on the blockout a about 3 days ago and started working on my high poly tonight. Any recommendations or constructive criticism would be greatly…
So...not really happy with the outcome of this guy. Trying out some alternative designs and see if I like it better. nothing set in stone yet, might go back to the current model, but I wanna do some experimenting first, so here is a sketch I did over the weekend and a quick blockout.
Thank you! I like to get a good fleshed out blockout first thing so I can try and work on the general lighting nice and early. Sometimes I don't even change it at the end haha I feel it helps motivate me more if it starts looking good as soon as really.
Yeah there was some uv issues but there gone now. Toned down the photo overlays and leave the bumps all to the normal map. I started a blockout out of the room behind one of the doors but then it dawned on me I have no idea what those rooms are called to look for reference. Would they just be a storage room?
