Heyo, I started working on a small collection of stylized low-poly potions some time ago. The goal is to have them all fully hand painted and ready to use in Games and Animation ^_^ I'll keep posting progress updates here and I'd be happy to get your feedback and suggestions along the way! TOOLS: Blender (Ucupaint), Clip…
Hi, So this is my first proper post so I thought I'd introduce myself with a Uni project that I'm working on right now. It's a WIP modular swimming pool scene using Maya and UDK. Everything is fairly low poly (sub 500) I'm very impressed by the work I've seen posted here so far so I'm fully expecting a lot of faults to be…
Another trick here is to realize these models were created mostly in quads, with edge-loop modeling tools. Then converted into triangles before export to the game, and edited further to improve the new triangle edges. One of a gazillion "blender extrude" search results:

our character team swear by these tools https://faceform.am/ but if you dont want to spend money, you should be able to fumble your way through with standard retopo tools
did some refining on the hair to give myself a better idea of what the flow and direction of the hair should be. had some cool references of victorian / gothic hairstyles as reference and it amazes me how people got their hair up like this lol. it's a gorgeous look!!
My workflow for cleaning the topo in the beginning stages of a sculpt: -Go to your highest detail subd level -Duplicate the tool -Zremesh one of the tools down to a nice low poly count -Subdivide this Zremeshed tool until its similar poly count to the duplicate (original) tool. -With the Zremeshed tool selected, hit…
