Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a puzzle game project in Unreal Engine 5, but I’ve hit a wall regarding the overall look of my environments. I have three main areas I'm working on: * The Lobby * Egg Puzzle Room * Water Puzzle Room * 4. Puzzle Technically the gameplay works, but visually the scenes feel "flat" and…
My spacemouse has made a fantastic ornament for about 15 years now. It comes off the shelf every year or so and I try to get it working with software I use then goes back on the shelf I really like them and if you use software that has driver support and you do something that takes advantage of the hardware (not modelling…
Getting this party started at last, part two of my intro thread here. This is a somewhat random jumble of my work over the past several years. I've included a couple traditional media pieces in the album. Both the pen & ink and charcoal used photo reference; my illustration instructor Jim DeWildt used to say if you can…
Hey All, I made some brand new fantasy brick textures to share with you. They live on my TXR-Brick - Seamless page. Here's the link: https://soundimage.org/txr-brick-seamless/ If you find my assets helpful, please consider making small contribution to support my efforts. I honestly hate asking, but I do pay for everything…
is it better than in 2023 version I am still too lazy to update? Mostly because I prefer Blender. When I tried last time it looked same as quad remesher in zbrush , Incapable to do proper topology on something like a sword catting edge and doing still sort of mid res topology on organic forms before getting too much off?
I've been using the latest version for about a week. It kicks ass! The UV unwrapping is better than ever. (a very important feature for in-game modeling) The new sculpting tool is surprisingly robust. It probably won't win over any regular users of ZBrush or Mudbox, but its fantastic for anyone who already uses Blender.…
Good progress! Re: Histogram There are not tools in Unreal to update the lighting from histogram. It's more of a general tool for you to know where your values fall compared to your reference. Or if they are too dark/bright/not using the whole range. You can get the histogram in any image editing software like Photoshop…
I'd say, take the Untold project and make a demo or actual game out of that one alone, perhaps add a basement, roof(room) and small court yard and bobs your uncle. Seems neat and you would not have to wait on these hiring managers to give you a response in the mean-time. (to gen income if things are getting tighter.) Also…
Confirmed it works in latest version of Max. Not true unfiltered nearest-neighbor filtering though. If you're willing to change the display driver, you can get pure point sampling, and no need for Composite:
