If you can overlay images onto the camera you could get a nice transition by breaking up the effect into layers. First fast in a soft 'fog' and maybe some blurring - then fade in the actual droplets as another layer. Or as two layers, smaller droplets first then larger. As for animating them to run down the screen... no…
I gave it a good try out last nite after work, seemed updating my drivers fixed up the dual view issues. In fact last nite it seemed to work almost perfect. if there was a few modifications, i think i would posibly purchase this. i want layers to work better, and layer effects and layer propertys to work..
Thanks mLichy. If the tablet is pluged in or not will not matter. Why its not working is most likely due to SP2. I will compile a new version later today that should work. Yes, ive noticed that too. Sometimes it thinks that the mouse is still down. Will try to fix that later today. Also have some nifty features in mind.…
Do you work in layers at all? When I deal with models of this detail level, I l ike to break up the major sections in seperate layers to reduce the lag (hiding layers I'm not working on). Not sure about the color depth, but I think it's reducing the color to help speed up (I've had the same problem, but worked through it).
Agree with Jade. While this is a cool design, it seems a little impractical, depending on the type of tech being used. Is it a laser gun or something? Does it rotate vertically as well as horizontally? It would be nice to see more renders.
haha yea i love mechanics alot, and im doing alot of or on other personal thing ;) heres the covers on hmm now.. should i add aimpont and laser marker or mount a grenade launcher on it? o.O
better representative footage illustrating the laser blast effect captured from the metallic strike resonating up the length of the metal fiber support cable! starting at 10:17... https://youtu.be/jl1MpthromI?t=10m17s
Nice. Looking forward to seeing it come along. Really funny you mention the laser beam eyes. That's what I'm doing http://polycount.com/discussion/169758/pc-csgo-desert-eagle-no2#latest
I have to admit that on first sight I actually thought it is a "plasmagun, laser pewpew", but anyway, it's awesome. Incredible details and presentation. Feels like this rifle would be actually build. The ammunition is a bit boring, but that is nitpicking.
My friends and I actually got into a small fight with some other moviegoers who brought along laser pointers and threw popcorn at the rest of the audience a few years ago. The rest of the movie was quiet though
