Eric Chadwick: Thanks for the tip dude, I'll check with amartinez and see if he can help, and I'll use scriptspot for backup. amartinez: I really appreciate you taking the time to help! I probably didn't describe my problem well enough, but simply put I need a solution for applying all these diffuse textures to a single…
When you export from Max for Zbrush, you can actually set the conversion scale to be applied which may not be initially properly set up. Just tinker with the options in Max when exporting, there's a button that opens the correct menu in the export screen. That said, dont worry too much if your model is a bit offscale in…

I'm not applying to game comps saying I'll do it for 10 bucks, or…
Yep. They aren't going to hire you to follow a step by step guide to creating the pieces, they're going to give you an idea and ask that you run with it. If you're lucky you might get a bit of reference and MAYBE a concept, if you're lucky. You also have to take into account that just about every first attempt made by just…

So, this mega texturing thing in ID Tech 5. Does it apply only to terrain or could you apply the same methodology of overlaying maps to any game object that is placed in the world? Could you for instance make every concrete barrier or wall unique after applying various levels of decals that are then baked into one…
