Hey everybody, I figured it would be nice to see where I started with all of my art and to track my progress. I'm going to add the dates of when I finished the projects under the screenshots just as a reminder. I am completely open to critiques/feedback and it will be nice seeing how everyone else progresses with their…
Hey everyone! I started work on a new project, based on an illustration by Dashiana! Koneko-chan is my fave so it had to be done eventually. There's a lot of difficult shapes in there, so wish me luck :DHere's my progress so far, still blocking in the shapes: I just got a full time job, so progress will be slow but steady!
Some more progress on texturing, learning how to get text into substance (especially Cyrillic characters, substance font setup really no help there....). Need more details on the top, dust, wear on secondary metal elements and the base of the three camera thing. But making progress bit by bit.
Hi everyone! Another week has passed and another progress has been made! =) , I moved on to one of the props in my scene, a lamp. Unity import: (tileable ground not final) ====================================================================================================== Going to be busy this week, so I'll prolly won't…
haha, just keep updating dude, i'm sure there are at least a few people following your progress. I'm working on an environment right now that I know I'm going to need to model a skeleton for, so I'm definitely watching your progress to see how this comes out.
Working on a middle east street or alleyway, only have some progress on this first building so far. Kinda confused at how the guys that work on Call of Duty or other similar games do their textures for the buildings. Mine keep turning out.... weird(?), or maybe its just me. Will post more as I progress, open to all…
Congrats again Max! Anyone wondering how to get a job it's MAKE ART. Go look at Max's sketch thread in less than 3 years and see his progress. It's a ton of work and really motivating to see the progress. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65561
Hi Rhoutermans, Looks like you've been progressing. Lemme ask you this, are you using real-world units for measuring? The reason I ask, is because at least on this camera/view, the PC seems rather big. Other than that, good progress. keep up. Cheers
very nice progress considering you only got one image to work off of. Hope to see more progress soon. My only complaint as of now is how angular certain areas are, especially the handle and trigger guard. Be sure to toss a few more edge loops in there.
Thanks [ErikNelson], really loving your exploration in art. I can see your progress, it's really inspiring to watch :) [edit] Hey sorry Erik/Daven, been tired lately. You're both rocking it up, I've been noticing the progress from both of yous ;)
