@oglu Thank you for your reply. Is that the only way to show the textures? I'm not looking into viewport rendering, I simply want to check to see how the textures are applied on my model in the viewport without rendering every single time. (0:02) I want to be able to see the textures applied on the model like this robot in…
It was a total nightmare. Worse is that in Cali you have to take a written test. They didn't tell my wife or I untill right before they handed us the test though. So I had to retake it once. You could only miss 6 out of 36 on your first time through and only 3 tries that day! But, it's done and hopefully I can avoid that…
Or just finishing up something I started last year, It's about 90% done, hopefully this weekend I can clean up the last few bits of this. I started this almost 2 months ago for CG chat's 36 comp, the supervillian one. Any crits are more than welcome though I am aware of the seams and the unfinished bits like the fingers…
The armor he has on his legs don't wrap around his calves very well, it looks awkward. From the concept you don't see very well what's going on at the back of his legs. Maybe you could take inspiration from this: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/36/a4/c3/36a4c32196afe2089b3108e99d4876db.jpg
I also had to reduce the number of links each person can have to three, username, workshop, social media or folio as when I asked about the new reddit mod behavior on self promotion resulting in many shadow bans, he said better keep links to a minimum. There is about 36 people participating in this tomorrow! :D

It looks like they used a technique similar to what was used in the Unity 4 demo video. They say a few things about it in this video (at around 4:36). It is some kind of volumetric effect. So it seems like they're raymarching (a basic example of raymarching I've seen: "What does the place I'm at now look like? Move a bit…

Hi everyone I'm happy to present my latest Substance Designer work. A 100% procedural ground generator. All the variations are generated from the same graph. It has 36 presets and a whole bunch more variations can be created using various exposed parameters. Was a ton of fun to work on! Check out my artstation for higher…
Thar we go, booked my ticket to arrive in Euston at 15:36, so I should hopefully arrive before Thursday. Checked online and it says the tube ride should only take a few minutes to get to Leicester Square station, so if things go to plan I should be there before 4. I'll PM my mobile brick number.
